Westlake Reed Leskosky developed the Facilities Master Plan for the Fairfax, Prince William, and Arlington, Virginia campuses of the College of Visual + Performing Arts (CVPA) at George Mason University. This plan will advance the University, create a new sense of community, and bring the academic units together in an integrated way. The Master Plan analyzed facilities on each campus and identified, based on interviews with 27 key stakeholders, needs for both the University and its community affiliates for program accommodation.

The Master Plan provides planning recommendations and strategies for a 10-year duration, based on enrollment projections and program evolution as well as analysis of existing space utilization. The needs of the CVPA will also be coordinated with needs identified in the University's Master Plan and respond to the Arts Council of Fairfax County's Master Arts Plan. The program for this Master Plan includes the following key elements: Concert Hall Performing Arts Building (renovation), Recital Hall, Dance Studio, Multi-purpose theatre, and Multi-disciplinary building including media labs and facilities for film and video studies, as well as expanded facilities for the Potomac Arts Academy and Osher Life Long Learning Institute.
