WESTLAKE REED LESKOSKY AND CONSULTANT JEFFREY A. LEIMGRUBER, FACHE ADVANCE THE COLLABORATION OF HEALTHCARE DESIGN AND OPERATIONS
Nationally Top Ranked Architect, Engineer and Technology Firm Forms Strategic Working Relationship with Hospital CEO Consultant
CLEVELAND, OH – Westlake Reed Leskosky, nationally recognized specialist in healthcare design and planning, announces the strategic working relationship with independent hospital and healthcare consultant Jeffrey A. Leimgruber, FACHE. The alliance advances the business growth and development of the firm's healthcare practice, and furthers the collaboration of design and operations that Westlake Reed Leskosky applies in its signature, integrated design approach to positively affect hospital facility project outcomes.
The alliance with Jeff Leimgruber, former hospital CEO and health system executive, differentiates the top ranked Westlake Reed Leskosky, Cleveland–based architects, engineers and technology designers, by bringing in house senior executive, clinical, and operations resources in order to master plan and design superior healthcare facilities that enhance the patient experience and produce operational and sustainable efficiencies for the future.
Philip LiBassi, AIA, ACHA, Principal of Westlake Reed Leskosky, says, "Based on our relationship with Jeff, and his many leadership roles, we are now working together in a new capacity to deepen our ability to serve senior executives of premier healthcare providers, and to further the intersections of planning and design with the critical operational aspects that must be sustained."
Westlake Reed Leskosky worked with Leimgruber in his Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital CEO role on the 4-year, complex $163 million major campus expansion. The complicated project was finished on budget and ahead of schedule due to the partnering process that included all stakeholders and an intensive management and monitoring structure.
Leimgruber says, "By working with senior executives and the hospital C-suite members, Westlake Reed Leskosky leverages their top design talent and integrated design process to create sustainable operations improvements, physician alignment, efficient configuration of units and flow, improved patient experience and higher employee engagement. The incorporation of these critical elements is integral to the overall process and outcome."
With 35 years of senior level healthcare experience, Leimgruber focuses his Cleveland, Ohio based consultancy on hospital and health systems operations and quality improvement, business and service line development, strategic planning, leadership development and medical staff alignment. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, he is also the recipient of ACHE's Regents Award for his contributions to his profession.
