Westlake Reed Leskosky was retained by Pennsylvania State University to conduct a study for additions and renovations to the Eisenhower Auditorium.  Built in 1974, the 2,589 seat facility is home to the Center for the Performing Arts. The focus of the study involved five key priorities that will allow the Eisenhower to accommodate contemporary programming and usage.  These include:  plaza improvements and integration of building with Shortlidge Mall; expansion of the main lobby area to re-image the building's street facade and enhance patron amenities such as concessions, ticket sales and restrooms; providing adequate secondary performance, education and rehearsal spaces, including related support spaces; improvement and consolidation of administrative office space; and resolution of accessibility, ADA and code compliance issues.
