Gallaher Hall (Health Sciences Building)
Gallaher Hall, designed by Westlake Reed Leskosky, is home to three of the University's newer academic offerings: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program, and Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. The new four-story building is connected by a walkway to the south end of Bracy Hall, Mount Union's natural sciences building.
The facility contains various teaching and skills labs, simulation, mock procedure, exam, and patient rooms, tiered lecture halls, and flexible classrooms. In addition, the building houses the administrative, faculty, and student support spaces for all programs. Architecturally, the new building complements Bracy Hall and other campus architecture, respecting massing, form, material, and fenestration. The building creates an attractive and definable edge for the campus along Union Avenue.
The Health Sciences Building is one of the initial building projects to emerge from the 2011 Campus Master Plan, a study executed by Westlake Reed Leskosky.
