Roger Chang, Pe, Leed Ap Joins Westlake Reed Leskosky As Principal And Director Of Sustainability
WASHINGTON, DC; CLEVELAND, OHIO; PHOENIX, AZ (5 April 2009) – Roger (Jui-Chen) Chang, PE, LEED AP joins nationally-recognized architecture/engineering firm Westlake Reed Leskosky as Principal and Director of Sustainability. He directs sustainable design and engineering with a particular focus in environmental quality, energy efficiency and building simulation modeling. He also serves as a Lead Mechanical Designer.
A green building and energy efficiency leader with LEED accreditation and professional engineering registration, Mr. Chang's appointment enhances the firm's integrated capabilities in engineering and sustainability with leadership talent. He is working closely with Monica Green, AIA, CSI, CCS, LEEDTM AP, Principal, and LEED Specialist at Westlake Reed Leskosky, on integrated building solutions, advancing the firm's initiatives beyond LEED criteria. This enterprise analyzes the firm's projects in regard to: energy use, water use, materials use, stewardship and education, operations and maintenance, and occupant comfort and health.
Named ASHRAE 2006 New Face of Engineering, Mr. Chang is a noted, frequent speaker on sustainable design, and has run LEED training workshops. He brings considerable experience in design, project management, sustainability consulting and building simulation modeling on major performing arts centers, museums, and laboratories.
