Lone Tree embraces arts complex

Little more than a month after opening its doors, the Lone Tree Arts Center is in nearly overwhelming demand for meeting space, and one nearby restaurant hired extra staff to help accommodate the hungry arts patrons spilling through their doors.

The tremendous response has center director Lisa Rigsby Peterson and her staff feeling happily frazzled.

WRL DC Office Awarded LEED-CI Gold

The WRL DC Office has been awarded LEED for Commercial Interiors Gold by the USGBC. WRL developed a full interior fitout package using an integrated design process. Features include a high level of thermal comfort controllability, efficient daylight and occupant responsive electric lighting, operable windows, siting in a building located over two subway lines, use of environmentally preferred materials, and a full carbon offset for estimated electricity usage.

WRL Top 100 Green Design Firm

It's Still Rock and Roll to Me

It all starts with a thing. it could be an object, such as a book or a piece of clothing. It could be a sound, such as a voice recording or a music track. Each has a story to tell. The depth at which that story is communicated to the masses differs depending on several factors, including the medium. Museums, theme parks, and even corporations struggle with storytelling, which can be imperative to their success.

Rock Hall opens most comprehensive Beatles exhibit as part of museum redesign
